As an Instructional Designer, you will build and maintain training programs that support comprehensive customer knowledge of N-able products. This includes onboarding training, product release training, course maintenance, certification courses, and assessments. You will collaborate with subject matter experts across engineering, product management, and technical support to determine training needs, design and deliver engaging learning experiences, and assess the impact of the training provided. Your work will ensure customers understand how to use N-able products effectively and confidently, fostering long-term partner loyalty, advocacy, and retention.

As an Instructional Designer, you will build and maintain training programs that support comprehensive customer knowledge of N-able products. This includes onboarding training, product release training, course maintenance, certification courses, and assessments. You will collaborate with subject matter experts across engineering, product management, and technical support to determine training needs, design and deliver engaging learning experiences, and assess the impact of the training provided. Your work will ensure customers understand how to use N-able products effectively and confidently, fostering long-term partner loyalty, advocacy, and retention.
What You'll Do
- Design, create, and maintain customer-facing product training programs and certification courses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to identify and prioritize training needs.
- Design assessments and feedback mechanisms to measure learning outcomes and improve training effectiveness.
- Organize learning experiences for optimal engagement and retention using instructional design best practices.
- Maintain content within Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Verify team created content to ensure intuitive and technically accurate learning experiences.
- Work effectively as part of a global team across time zones and cultures.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM), and learning science.
- Experience designing and delivering certification programs and assessments.
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles, networking, software architecture, UX/UI design and AI tools.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage multiple training projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline and Rise, Adobe Captivate, or similar.
- Familiarity with LMS platforms and principles (e.g., SCORM, xAPI).
- 2+ years of experience in training, facilitation, or instructional design.
