Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.

Summary:

As an IBM Websphere Application Server Administrator, you will be responsible for providing ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems. Your typical day will involve troubleshooting and resolving issues related to IBM Websphere Application Server and ensuring the smooth functioning of the server environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Expected to perform independently and become an SME.

  • Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.

  • Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.

  • Perform troubleshooting and problem resolution for IBM Websphere Application Server.

  • Ensure the smooth functioning of the server environment.

  • Monitor server performance and optimize server resources.

  • Implement security measures to protect the server environment.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve server-related issues.


    • Professional & Technical Skills:


  • Required Skill: Expert proficiency in IActive MQ and Tibco EMS

  • Strong understanding of server administration and configuration.

  • Experience with TIBCO Enterprise Message Service is a plus.

  • Knowledge of networking protocols and concepts.

  • Familiarity with operating systems such as Linux and Windows.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve server-related issues.

  • Knowledge of server security best practices.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.


    • Additional Information:


  • The candidate should have minimum 1 year of experience in IBM Websphere Application Server Administration.

  • This position is based in Manila.
