You will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements. Your typical day will involve working with Informix Database Administration, ensuring the smooth functioning of databases and optimizing their performance.
Responsibilities
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Ensure the smooth functioning of Informix databases.
- Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity.
- Design and develop applications based on business requirements.
- Configure applications to meet specific application requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of applications.
- The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Informix Database Administration
- Expert proficiency in Informix Database Administration
- Strong understanding of database management systems and SQL.
- Experience with Linux and GitHub.
- Knowledge of application development frameworks and methodologies.
- Familiarity with software engineering principles and best practices.
