The Industrial General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the development, management, and profitability of industrial projects, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning and Development:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for industrial projects to drive growth and profitability.
- Identify market trends and opportunities for new industrial developments.
- Collaborate with senior management to align industrial project goals with the companys overall strategy.
- Leasing / Sales and Marketing Management:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies for industrial project that will drive leasing/ sales growth and contribute to overall Industrial BU sales and revenue growth.
- Build up leasing/ sales organization
- Specific focus: overall project site merchandising
- Project Management:
- Oversee the planning, development, and execution of industrial projects from inception to completion.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Manage project teams, contractors, and consultants to achieve project objectives.
- Business Operations:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of industrial properties, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance productivity and profitability.
- Oversee leasing, tenant relations, and property management activities.
- Financial Management:
- Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and performance metrics for industrial projects.
- Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Conduct financial analysis and reporting to senior management.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, tenants, government agencies, and industry partners.
- Represent FLI in industry forums, conferences, and networking events.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of professionals.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in industrial real estate development, with a proven track record of successful project management and business operations.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.
- In-depth knowledge of industrial real estate market trends, regulations, and best practices.
