The Senior Instructional Designer will lead a team of 4-6 Instructional Designers, ensuring the development and execution of high-quality learning content for all markets. This role requires a strategic approach to instructional design, training evaluation, and innovation in learning methodologies. The Senior ID will collaborate closely with senior leadership, operational teams, training leads, and knowledge management teams to enhance the overall learning experience.

The Senior Instructional Designer will lead a team of 4-6 Instructional Designers, ensuring the development and execution of high-quality learning content for all markets. This role requires a strategic approach to instructional design, training evaluation, and innovation in learning methodologies. The Senior ID will collaborate closely with senior leadership, operational teams, training leads, and knowledge management teams to enhance the overall learning experience.
Key Accountabilities:
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and mentor a team of 4-6 Instructional Designers, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management.
- Oversee the design, development, and delivery of training materials for onboarding, upskilling, and cross-training programs.
- Ensure alignment of instructional design strategies with business objectives and operational needs.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the instructional design team.
- Drive the creation of high-impact learning materials, including slide decks, facilitator guides, e-learning modules, and assessments.
- Champion the use of Instructional Design (ID) theories and methodologies such as ADDIE and Kirkpatricks Evaluation Model to ensure best practices.
- Develop and maintain a catalog of training resources for team leaders and operations.
- Ensure training materials are adaptable to diverse learning styles and evolving business needs.
- Work with HelloConnect Team to support marketing and website materials as needed.
- Partner with Operational Teams, Training Leads, Local Knowledge Management Coordinators, and Senior Training & Quality Managers to support training initiatives at a global level.
- Conduct train-the-trainer sessions to ensure trainers are equipped with the necessary skills and materials.
- Gather feedback from key stakeholders and adjust training strategies accordingly.
- Implement Kirkpatricks model to evaluate training effectiveness and improve learning outcomes.
- Conduct proactive needs analysis to identify learning gaps and ensure relevant training solutions.
- Generate weekly and monthly reports on training performance, content effectiveness, and learning outcomes.
- Utilize analytics to track KPIs and measure the impact of instructional design initiatives.
