Key Responsibilities
- Design of Component, sub-assembly and top-level assembly Level 3D CAD Models
- Design for a project or product
- Leads Design Review / Drawing Review / DR Review activities
- Performs Tolerance Analysis of high complexity-assemblies
- Identifies and resolves design or technical problems, either potential or a result of testing and evaluation
- Creates Design Concepts
- Ensures proper maintenance / documentation of CAD files using PDMLink and Merlin
- Establish design framework at multiple assemblies' level
- Drives technical problem-solving activities
- Mentors 2 or more junior engineers
- BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering (Electromechanical Engineering)
- With at least 5 years relevant or related experience in 3D CAD (Preferably Pro/Engineer (Creo)), documentation, design, development, and analysis.
- Good problem solving and analytical skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Tools
- Works with less supervision
- Advanced knowledge in mechanical design and evaluation
- Advanced knowledge on sheet metal OR plastic design
- Advanced knowledge on testing and instrumentation
- Advanced DFX skills: component & assemblies
- Advanced knowledge on product development processes
- Advanced knowledge on technical documentation content (component & assembly level) and tools
- Advanced proficiency in design-aid tools
- Advanced troubleshooting skills
