Human Resources Generalist - Philippines

Brief Description

The Human Resource Generalist supports the human resources function and facilitates a variety of employee-related programs. Administers human resources PHL HR activities and company events, labor compliance, and external relations. Administers employee performance management and career planning. Provides administrative support as HRIS administrator.

What you will do:

• Facilitates PHL HR activities such as seminars, training, and team buildings.
• Organizes PHL company events such as mid-year get-togethers and Christmas/year-end parties.
• Handles health and wellness and safety of PHL employees.
• Organizes and facilitates Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
• Maintains compliance with government and local employment laws and regulations, especially with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), and Local Government of Davao City.
• Coordinates HR external relations such as HR associations, consulting companies/agencies, government agencies, etc.
• Handles performance consultation, such as the point of escalation for underperformers and other performance issues.
• Handles PHL career planning by assisting managers in developing frameworks, job descriptions, and enforcing the titling mechanics.
• Serves as an HRIS administrator to ensure appropriate and up-to-date information.
  
  

What you should bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources management with at least three (3) years’ experience as Generalist.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, necessary to properly communicate with employees with an ability to present in small group settings.
• Excellent interpersonal, consultative and coaching skills.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to always maintain confidentiality and act with integrity and professionalism.
• Organized and proactive individual with a positive attitude, warm personality and approachable disposition. Detail-orientation and the ability to recommend and create process improvements are essential.
