About the role
We are seeking a talented and experienced HR professional to join our dynamic team as the Human Resource Department Manager at LIFEBANK - A RURAL BANK. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. Based in our Santa Barbara Iloilo office, this is a full-time position that will play a crucial part in shaping the growth and development of our organisation.
What you'll be doing
- Developing and implementing effective HR strategies and policies to support the overall business objectives
- Leading the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain top talent
- Managing employee onboarding, training, and development programs
- Overseeing employee performance management and providing constructive feedback
- Addressing employee relations issues and ensuring compliance with all relevant labour laws and regulations
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand and address their HR-related needs
- Continuously reviewing and improving HR processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Analysing HR data and providing insights to inform strategic decision-making
- Fostering a positive and inclusive work culture that promotes employee engagement and well-being
What we're looking for
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a human resources management role, preferably within the banking or financial services industry
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with employees at all levels
- Proven track record in talent acquisition, employee development, and performance management
- Proficiency in HR software and data analysis tools to drive informed decision-making
- Strategically-minded, with the ability to align HR initiatives with the organisation's business goals
- Collaborative and team-oriented, with a commitment to fostering a positive work environment
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
