Job Description Summary

The Supervisor of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) is responsible for ensuring the company's compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) guidelines. This role focuses on creating a safe working environment and preventing workplace injuries and accidents.

Key Responsibilities

Document Processing

  • Monitor and record workplace accidents/incidents.
  • Prepare and maintain safety-related documents and records.
  • Develop Hazard Analysis Risk Assessment Risk Control (HIRARC) Plans.
  • Prepare and process EHS-related agreements and contracts.
  • Manage company and third-party regulatory permits, licenses, and documents.
  • Submit documents to regulatory agencies for reporting, monitoring, and compliance.
  • Prepare safety reports and presentations.

Operations

  • Monitor the company's safety performance.
  • Conduct workplace risk assessments and prepare HIRARC Plans.
  • Implement Behavioral Based Environment, Safety & Health (BESH) programs.
  • Conduct regular safety walkthroughs to identify and mitigate unsafe acts and conditions.
  • Investigate incidents/accidents to determine root causes and implement controls.
  • Ensure operational compliance with safety rules and regulations.
  • Ensure facility compliance with fire safety standards.
  • Coordinate emergency procedures such as fire drills and evacuations.
  • Collaborate with the facility team on repairs and maintenance.
  • Ensure all critical jobs comply with National Competency Standard (NCII) from TESDA.
  • Issue work permits and cascade safety programs to all employees.
  • Conduct safety orientations for employees, principals, visitors, and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate safety-related training sessions.
  • Participate in internal and external safety meetings.
  • Monitor and maintain government regulatory compliance.
  • Handle regulatory visits and inspections.
  • Participate in EHS audits.
  • Ensure implementation of EHS Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Administrative

  • Train, develop, and motivate staff for seamless operation.
  • Identify applicable environmental legal requirements.
  • Monitor operations employees' performance through leadership and effective management initiatives.
  • Support account operations to meet their requirements.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

  • Safety and Health: Lost-Time Accident / Illness
  • New Facility Readiness for Expansion and New Clients
  • Seamless Transition of New Clients
  • Cost Performance/Savings
  • Equipment Reliability and Availability

We are looking for

  • Several years of working experience in safety.
  • PCO training and experience are mandatory.
  • 40 HRS BOSH/COSH Training & LCM training from DOLE accredited agencies.
  • DOLE or OSH practitioner certification is a plus.
  • BCO accredited handling preferred.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and people management skills are essential.
