Job Summary:

The HR Intern will support the Total Rewards department in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting market data related to compensation, benefits, and broader HR trends. This role is ideal for individuals looking to develop their expertise in HR analytics and research, with the potential for growth into a specialist position over time.


Responsibilities:

• Collect and analyze compensation and benefits data from various sources (e.g., surveys, reports, industry publications) to assess current market trends.

• Assist in benchmarking compensation and benefits packages against industry standards and competitors.

• Support the Compensation and Benefits Specialist by compiling data and creating reports to assist in decision-making related to employee compensation, benefits, and general HR policies.

• Work closely with team members to support broader People and Culture initiatives and research efforts.

• Engage in cross-departmental collaboration to understand business needs and adjust research focus as necessary.

• Stay up to date with industry trends in HR and compensation practices.

• Participate in learning and development opportunities to expand knowledge in the field of Total Rewards and HR analytics.


Qualifications and Requirements:

• Recent graduates from any field are encouraged to apply.

• The candidate should show a keen interest in human resources, particularly in areas such as HR analytics or compensation.

• Strong enthusiasm for learning about HR data, analytics, and market trends, with an eagerness to grow within the field.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) and comfortable with data analysis tools.

• Meticulous in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data, ensuring accuracy in reporting.

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and patterns in data and apply insights to real-world situations.

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team, with a positive and proactive approach to tasks.

• Clear and coherent written and verbal communication skills to clearly present data to different audiences.

• Willingness to quickly learn new tools, concepts, and processes, particularly in the areas of compensation and benefits.
