The HR Generalist is a versatile HR professional responsible for providing comprehensive HR support across various functions, including employee relations, benefits administration, payroll, compliance, and policy development. This role requires a strong understanding of Philippine labor laws and regulations, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

The Role

The HR Generalist is a versatile HR professional responsible for providing comprehensive HR support across various functions, including employee relations, benefits administration, payroll, compliance, and policy development. This role requires a strong understanding of Philippine labor laws and regulations, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Employee Relations:
- Facilitate orientation
- Address employee inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Facilitate conflict resolution and mediate disputes.
- Promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Attend and facilitate admin hearings
- Provide proper onboarding and off boarding of employees
- Benefits Administration:
- Manage employee benefits programs, including HMO, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Process benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of benefits.
- Payroll Processing:
- Process accurate and timely payroll, including salaries, wages, bonuses, and deductions.
- Ensure compliance with tax and social security regulations.
- Generate accurate payroll reports and summaries.
- Compliance and Record-keeping:
- Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws and regulations, including SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and tax requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Prepare necessary reports and documentation.
- Policy Development and Implementation:
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures, such as the company handbook.
- Review and update policies as needed to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of government-required documents.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in HR, preferably as an HR Generalist.
- In-depth knowledge of Philippine labor laws and regulations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and HRIS systems.
- Experienced using Click Up and Hub Spot
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Experience in recruitment is a plus.
