Job Summary:


We are seeking a proactive and versatile HR Generalist to join our team of 80 professionals. The ideal candidate will oversee payroll processing, serve as the primary HR point of contact for employees, assist in performance appraisals and disciplinary processes, and manage recruitment efforts and company events. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a flat organizational structure and is excited to manage a variety of HR functions in a dynamic, small-business environment.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Payroll Management: Process and manage payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with labor laws, including SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG contributions.
  2. Employee Relations: Act as the HR representative for the company, providing support to employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and general inquiries.
  3. Performance Management: Assist in the execution of performance appraisals, working with managers to ensure a fair and effective review process.
  4. Disciplinary Procedures: Support the implementation of disciplinary actions in line with company policies, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with labor regulations.
  5. Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, candidate selection, and onboarding new employees to ensure a smooth integration into the company.
  6. Events Management: Plan and organize company events such as team-building activities, employee engagement initiatives, and holiday parties, fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
  7. Benefits Administration: Manage employee benefits programs, answer questions about benefit options, and assist with enrollment processes.
  8. HR Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor laws and ensure the company’s policies and practices comply with applicable laws and regulations.
  9. HR Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal files, leave management, and attendance.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in HR roles, preferably as an HR Generalist or in a similar capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment processes, payroll management, and HR practices.
  • Experience in organizing company events and activities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and payroll software is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of local labor laws and regulations is a must.
