What you'll do

Docusign is seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Change Management Lead to join our team on a 12-month contract. This role will be instrumental in driving the change management strategy and execution for key HR initiatives. The initial focus of this role will be to lead the change efforts associated with a critical project to identify the optimal location strategy for our employee populations. The role is both a strategic and hands-on role researching, preparing, launching and driving the evolution of critical HR change projects. The role is critical in advising and consulting the leadership team on the best practice design, roll out and enablement of our business leaders in relation to key change programs.

As a Change Lead, you will work in interlock with senior leaders of specialist functions such as Recruiting, People Operations, L&D and our People Experience teams developing and executing HR changement principles. The ability to bridge the gap between our COEs and project deliverables is essential in this role.

The ideal candidate for this role has successfully supported change initiatives and business improvement projects, as well as having exposure to the HR Business Partnering organizations.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Sr Director, HR Business Partners.

Responsibility

  • Develop and execute comprehensive change management plans to support the implementation of the company's location strategy including stakeholder analysis, communication planning, readiness assessments, training strategies, and resistance management
  • Collaborate closely with the project team, HR leadership, and business stakeholders to understand the implications of the location strategy and identify potential impacts on employees
  • Develop and deliver clear, consistent, and timely communications to employees and managers regarding the location strategy project and its outcomes
  • Assess the change readiness of different employee groups and develop targeted interventions to address potential challenges
  • Design and facilitate training and support programs to equip employees and managers with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the changes
  • Identify and mitigate potential resistance to change, developing strategies to foster understanding and buy-in
  • Monitor the effectiveness of change management activities and make adjustments as needed
  • Apply change management principles and methodologies to other HR projects and initiatives as assigned (e.g., implementation of new HR systems, process changes, organizational restructures)
  • Develop change management plans, communication strategies, and training materials for various HR programs
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and other HR functional areas to integrate change management considerations into project plans
  • Support the development of change management capabilities within the HR team

Job Designation

Remote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequently and works from a designated remote work location for the majority of the time.

What you bring

Basic

  • 8+ years of HR Programs, Operations, HRBP, Success Hub or Change Management experience in High Tech companies with a Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of experience related to designing, building and executing programs related to employee change management
  • Experience delivering, influencing, and executing new strategies and tactics using sound analysis and impact metrics to support people related decision-making

Preferred

  • Extensive experience working in Success Hubs and supporting International locations
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to grasp the core context, identify key risks, and cooperate with all parties to achieve goals in a fast-changing environment
  • Experience acting as a trusted advisor/consultant that can influence without authority
  • Experience with setting/delivering against ambitious targets, analyzing the status quo, planning a course of action, executing rapid trial and error iterations and constantly improving
  • Great communicator and team-worker comfortable navigating global organization structures and aligning objectives with cross-functional teams
  • Strong solutions’ focus and being comfortable working in an environment which demands strong deliverables along with the ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions
  • Experience in building, maintaining and developing strategic talent programs
