The HR Business Partner is responsible for executing core HR functions across the Visayas region, supporting both company-owned and franchise stores. This role covers employee movement, recruitment, performance management, labor relations, and engagement activities. It requires strong administrative capabilities, strategic thinking, and the ability to partner with business units to drive HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer employee movements (hiring, transfers, promotions, resignations) and ensure accurate SAP encoding.
- Conduct initial screening of Management Trainees (MTs) and support recruitment activities.
- Manage the SEEDS program database, tuition payments, and student progress.
- Consolidate performance appraisals and generate reports.
- Organize engagement activities (e.g., Tea Time, Kamustahan, Sportsfest, Birthday Bash).
- Address employee concerns and support conflict resolution with HR Business Partners.
- Monitor compliance with company policies and assist in disciplinary actions.
- Represent the company in DOLE-mandated activities, labor disputes, and LGU coordination.
- Support benefits administration and manual payroll adjustments.
- Participate in HR projects focused on process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Handle procurement, cash advances, and supplier payments for HR events.
- Act as point-of-contact for HR inquiries from business units.
- Conduct store visits and audit checks for safety, permits, and documentation.
- Collaborate with store managers, area managers, and operations teams.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Industrial Engineering, Human Resources, or related fields.
- At least 1 year of HR experience across multiple functions (e.g., payroll, compensation & benefits, employee relations, strategic partnership).
- Strong administrative background and generalist HR experience.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently across Cebu and VisMin area.
- Must be proactive, independent, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable engaging with store teams and operations personnel.
- Willing to work in Cebu City. (Hybrid)
