HR Business Partner (Supervisor Level) for Logistics Industry - Davao, Cagayan, Zamboanga

Job Overview:

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic partner to the business, collaborating with leadership and management teams to drive organizational effectiveness, enhance employee engagement, and contribute to the achievement of business goals. The HRBP will work closely with functional leaders, managers, and employees to provide comprehensive HR support, implement HR initiatives, and develop strategies that align with the company's goals and culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Partnering:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders by providing expert HR guidance and support on key initiatives.
  • Align HR strategies with business objectives, working proactively to address business challenges and enhance organizational performance.
  • Drive organizational change initiatives and support leadership through transformations or restructures.


Talent Management & Development:

  • Collaborate with leaders to develop and implement talent acquisition strategies, ensuring the business attracts top talent.
  • Partner with management to identify high-potential employees and provide guidance on succession planning and career development.
  • Lead and support performance management processes, ensuring that employees are given clear feedback and development opportunities.
  • Implement learning and development programs aligned with business goals and employee growth needs.


Employee Relations & Engagement:

  • Act as a point of contact for employees and managers on HR-related concerns, ensuring fair and consistent resolution of issues.
  • Advise on employee relations matters such as conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance issues, maintaining legal compliance and ethical standards.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, focus groups, and other programs to enhance workplace culture and morale.


Workforce Planning & Organizational Design:

  • Collaborate with leadership to design and implement effective workforce strategies, including restructuring, job redesign, and workforce planning.
  • Assess the impact of organizational changes and provide guidance on adapting to changing business needs.
  • Help identify gaps in workforce capabilities and skills, and develop action plans to address these gaps.


HR Policies & Compliance:

  • Ensure HR practices comply with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Review, update, and communicate HR policies to ensure alignment with the company's objectives and legal requirements.
  • Support leaders in managing risk by providing advice on HR policies, compensation, benefits, and employee welfare.


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Advise management on compensation strategies, including salary benchmarking, incentive programs, and reward structures.
  • Work with Compensation & Benefits teams to ensure the company's offerings are competitive and aligned with market standards.


Data-Driven Insights & Reporting:

  • Use HR analytics to measure and improve HR programs and business outcomes.
  • Provide regular HR metrics and insights to leadership to guide decision-making and track progress on HR initiatives.


Change Management:

  • Support leadership in driving change management initiatives across the organization, helping to manage the human side of change and ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Provide training and resources to managers and employees to enhance their ability to adapt to change.


Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. A Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, HRCI-SPHR) is a plus.


Experience:

  • For Senior Managerial Level: 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in an HRBP role or a related HR leadership position
  • For Supervisory Level: minimum of 2 years of HR Generalist experience or related HR position
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and organizational development.
  • Willing to be assigned either from Davao, Cagayan or Zamboanga
