HR Assistant

JOB SUMARRY:

In accordance with the policies, procedure and standards of Crimson Resort & Spa, and under the direct supervision of the Director for Human Resources, this position is responsible for assisting and providing support services to the Director for Human Resources in handling all areas of Human Resources Management and Training; to help ensure that all conform to the Crimson Resort & Spa quality system procedures as documented, as regards to HR and Training functions; and in all matters relative to achieving and fulfilling the HR goals, functions and objectives of the Hotel.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Maintains an orderly record of all HR files for ready and immediate reference.
• Monitors requirements for supplies and equipment necessary for the smooth functioning of the Division.
• Develops, implements, revises and keeps current as may be necessary all HR administrative policies and procedures under the control and direction and upon approval of the Human Resources Manager.
• Submits regular formal written reports on all activities undertaken, problems encountered and other relevant matters and concerns to the Human Resources Manager.
• Works with other personnel to ensure that their administrative requirements are accomplished.
• Creates working relationships within the Hotel in order to properly cascade all HR plans and initiatives.
• Relays all important, timely and relevant information to all Employees.
  
  
  

Maintains close contact with the Director for HR to coordinate activities and implement programs and policies.

• Maintains the central resume file of all applicants for various positions and coordinates the transmittal of the CVs to the Department Heads and Corporate Office.
• Reviews Personnel Requisitions submitted by the Dept Heads
• Recommends to the General Manager and/or Dept Heads candidates to be scheduled for interviews. Keeps a record of potential staff for future reference.
• Assists the DOHR in maintaining and enhancing employee welfare to ensure high morale in the Hotel.
• Conducts consultation and information sharing with employee organizations and labor-management committees under the control and direction of the DOHR.
• Organizes and monitors social and recreational activities under the control and direction of the DOHR and in coordination with other Departments.
