Job Title: HR Staff (Recruitment and Payroll)

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced HR Staff member with a strong background in recruitment and payroll to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of professional experience in HR functions and possess a solid understanding of HR policies and procedures. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment processes and handling payroll tasks, ensuring timely and accurate compensation and benefits for all employees.

Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Staffing:
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring candidates for various positions.
- Coordinate with department heads to determine staffing needs and assist with workforce planning.
- Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events to source potential candidates.
- Maintain an up-to-date candidate database and track recruitment progress.
- Payroll Administration:
- Process payroll for employees on a monthly/bi-weekly basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Handle deductions, tax computations, benefits administration, and generate payslips.
- Ensure timely disbursement of salaries and resolve any payroll-related issues or discrepancies.
- Keep accurate records of employee attendance, leaves, and overtime.
- Employee Records & Compliance:
- Ensure that employee records are maintained in compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
- Assist in preparing reports on HR activities for management review.
- Support the HR team in various administrative functions as required.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of work experience in HR, with a focus on recruitment and payroll.
- Skills:
- Proficient in using HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) and MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Knowledge of labor laws and payroll regulations in the Philippines.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Personal Attributes:
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
- Location: The candidate must be a resident of Davao or willing to relocate.
