JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
- Intake of new referrals and staffing/assigning care to nurses and therapists.
- Check insurance eligibility
- Intake screening phone calls to verify patient information
- Data Entry of patient information in EMR system-KINNSER/Wellsky
- Support medical records compliance by obtaining Progress Notes and MD orders
- Experience using EMR (electronic medical record systems)
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to communicate well with Physicians and other Healthcare Professionals
- Excellence in multitasking
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
- Desire to be part of a team
- Ability to work independently, complete work in a timely manner and demonstrate flexibility in response to unexpected changes in work volume and work schedule.
