The Head of Finance will lead and oversee the organization's financial strategy, ensuring robust financial planning, reporting, and compliance. This role will be instrumental in developing financial frameworks, streamlining processes, and providing insights to drive business performance.

Duties & Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Management:

• Design and implement financial strategies to support business objectives.
• Develop financial models and forecasts to guide executive decision-making.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiency.
  
  

Accounting & Compliance

• Oversee the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure adherence to accounting principles, tax regulations, and industry standards.
• Develop and enforce internal financial controls and risk management procedures.
• Work closely with auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
  
  

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Provide detailed variance analysis and recommendations for improvement.
  
  

Financial Operations & Cash Flow Management

• Manage cash flow, ensuring liquidity and strategic allocation of resources.
• Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and vendor payments.
• Maintain accurate financial records and streamline transaction processes.
  
  

Leadership & Team Development

• Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering professional growth.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve financial processes and business insights.
• Drive a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
• Significant experience in a senior financial leadership role.
• Strong proficiency in financial software and reporting tools.

• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects.
