Job Purpose

The Head of Corporate Finance will lead and oversee the corporate finance function within a leading financial institution. This role is integral to the development and execution of financial strategies, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital raising, and financial structuring. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in financial analysis, corporate finance strategy, financial planning, and capital markets, with a proven track record in managing high-level financial transactions, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership within the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Corporate Finance Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies, including capital raising, M&A, and investment opportunities to support growth and profitability
• Capital Markets & Investment: Lead debt and equity financing, evaluate investment opportunities, and structure deals for optimal financial outcomes
• Financial Analysis & Reporting: Oversee financial modeling, valuation analysis, and reporting to support key decision-making and ensure regulatory compliance
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring robust financial controls and performance tracking
• Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing corporate finance team, promoting continuous professional growth
• Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate financial performance, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership and external stakeholders
• Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and manage financial risks
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics (MBA, CFA, CPA preferred)
• Experience: 10+ years in corporate finance with 5+ years in a leadership role within financial services
• Skills: Strong expertise in M&A, capital markets, financial modeling, and strategic financial management. Leadership experience with excellent communication and negotiation skills
