This position is primarily responsible for collating and analyzing relevant business and customer data, generating useful insights, and recommending strategic courses of action to ensure an informed decision-making in addressing business and market opportunities considering people, organization, processes, information, and technology. The function covers the entire product groups of Mass Retail business such as credit and debit cards, personal loan, microfinance, and other such unsecured loan variants. The role calls for senior leadership over a team composed of data scientists and analytics officers.

- Develop, propose, and enable execution of business strategies and initiatives based on big data analysis covering credit and customer life cycles from product planning, acquisition, activation, and portfolio management;
- Partner and collaborate with stakeholders across business units to execute and derive value realization of analytics-driven initiatives such as sales and marketing campaigns, promotions, cross-selling, reavailment/ top-ups, and other such business-building programs;
- Develop and periodically review and upgrade statistical models such as propensity, profitability, and machine learning algorithms based on customer behavior that can be used to improve product/program take-up, activation, customer deepening, attrition mitigation, and profitability;
- Continuously remain updated with market and competitive data and trends and conduct market research as may be required;
- Provide leadership to a team of data scientists and business analytics officers, building a culture that aligns with BPI’s values and ensuring continuous skills and knowledge development; and
- Adopt the latest technology and data science/ statistical techniques in data science and analytics.
- Graduate of any quantitative course such as Statistics, Analytics, Mathematics, Economics, and Engineering
- With at least 10 years experience in business analytics covering credit and customer life cycles
- Banking experience with exposure to consumer/retail products businesses
- Extensive exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional teams
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
