About the role

As the Greenhouse Supervisor at Leslie Corporation, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of the company's state-of-the-art greenhouse facilities in Mabalacat City, Pampanga. This full-time position plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and sustainable production of high-quality crops, contributing to the overall success of the company's horticulture business.

What you'll be doing

• Manage the daily activities and workflow within the greenhouse, ensuring optimal growing conditions and adherence to established protocols
• Supervise a team of greenhouse technicians and assistants, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
• Monitor and maintain greenhouse equipment, systems, and infrastructure, including climate control, irrigation, and pest management
• Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure the production of healthy, high-yield crops
• Collaborate with the horticulture team to optimize growing processes and adopt innovative techniques
• Maintain detailed records and reports on greenhouse operations, production data, and resource consumption
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a commercial greenhouse or similar agricultural setting
• Demonstrated expertise in greenhouse management, including environmental control systems, irrigation, and pest management
• Strong knowledge of horticulture principles, crop cultivation techniques, and greenhouse operations
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to address challenges in a timely and effective manner
• Effective communication and leadership abilities to coordinate and motivate a team
• Proficiency in data analysis and record-keeping to track and optimize greenhouse performance
• With Lettuce production experience.
• A bachelor's degree in horticulture, agriculture, or a related field is preferred
