What You'll Do
As the Global Head of Accounts Receivable & Payable, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's accounting function. Your role will involve preparing comprehensive financial statements, implementing top-tier accounting processes, and identifying opportunities for business growth. You will also support your team's daily operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality statements in a rapidly evolving business environment.
- Lead and implement the accounting strategy for AP/AR areas globally
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly AP/AR financial statements including consolidation and reporting for multiple entities
- Implement best-in-class accounting processes
- Identify opportunities to improve business growth and profitability through financial insights
- Support the accounting sub-team's daily operations to deliver high-quality statements
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data in coordination with other finance teams
- Optimize team structure while mentoring the accounting teams and driving professional development

- Proven leadership skills with experience in group accounting across all levels
- Strategic and creative thinking abilities
- Ability to adapt and prioritize in a constantly changing environment
- Proficient knowledge in IFRS accounting
- Experience in data- and ERP projects such as migration
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong hands-on mentality with ability to convince rather than push through change
