Fullstack Engineer

We’re looking for a Full Stack Engineer with a strong focus on building intuitive, high-performing web applications using React. In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready features, maintain UI consistency, and shape the technical direction of our product. While your primary focus will be on the frontend, there’s flexibility to explore backend development (particularly in Python and AWS) if that interests you.

• Write modular, reusable, and clean code with a strong emphasis on testability, including writing your own tests.
• Take ownership of projects—make decisions, drive progress, and deliver value with minimal supervision.
• Develop new features by leveraging existing design systems and functionality—even when mockups aren’t provided.
• Focus on delivering practical, user-focused solutions by testing features from the user’s perspective and continuously improving UX.
• Collaborate with the QA team to ensure new features are robust and testable.
• Work closely with the product team to validate feasibility and refine upcoming changes.

• 5+ years of experience as a full-stack developer with modern Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong experience with Python Django.
• Hands-on experience with GraphQL.
• Proficiency in React, Next.js, or similar modern frontend frameworks.
• Familiarity with Kafka and Redis or similar technologies.
• Solid experience with relational databases and SQL, preferably PostgreSQL, including schema design and debugging slow queries.
• Advocate of modern Python practices (async/await, type-hints, data classes, pydantic).
• Familiarity with AWS or Azure, Docker/Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of using REST APIs to integrate with external services.
• Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with significant autonomy.

Bonus Points for:

• Backend experience with Python/Django, AWS, and CI/CD tooling.

• Remote-first position: Work from home during US hours.
