WHAT IS A FULLSTACK DEVELOPER?

Our awesome client, a leading fintech company based in Australia is looking for a Fullstack Developer to be part of their team.

• As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing, developing, and maintaining innovative software solutions for Send Payments. You are passionate about delivering high-quality software products that revolutionise the payments and financial industry. You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you contribute your technical expertise to solve complex problems and drive innovation.

WHAT WILL BE YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES?

• In our high performing team, you will actively participate in the design, coding, testing, and debugging of software applications and components using the latest programming languages and tools.
• Bugs bother you, and you are relentless in identifying and resolving software defects, performance bottlenecks, and other technical challenges using a creative mindset.
• You will not be siloed, and you are someone who thrives in cross-functional teams, collaborating closely with talented professionals including product team, business owners and testers.
• You embrace the power of AI, working with modern AI coding tools and building AI agents that become valuable members of our AI workforce, accelerating productivity and innovation across the business.
• In a rapidly fast changing landscape, you are passionate about staying at the forefront of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in software engineering.
• You understand that documentation is important for future reference and effective knowledge transfer and are diligent in your documentation.
• You understand best practice coding principles and apply your knowledge to participate in code reviews and embrace a culture of quality assurance. You take pride in writing clean, well-tested code and contribute to implementing rigorous quality assurance practices to ensure the excellence of our software products.
• You provide technical leadership and mentorship to other engineers, guiding team members and optimizing team performance by leading code reviews and sharing your expertise.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Core Technologies:

• PostgreSQL & SQL
• Node.js
• React

Must-Have:

• Strong TypeScript (backend-focused)
• Node.js experience (especially with Express or Koa)
• React proficiency

High Priority:

• PostgreSQL expertise
• Microservices and Event-driven architecture experience
• Exposure or interest in AI coding tools
• AWS experience
