Job Description
- To oversee and manage the detection, investigation, and prevention of fraudulent activities, ensuring the security of customer transactions.
- Lead a team, initiating fraud prevention projects, analyzing trends, collaborating with cross-functional departments, and continuously improving fraud detection strategies to mitigate risks and protect the organization from financial loss.
- Lead the team in identifying and validating suspicious transactions and requests, ensuring timely and effective investigation
- Ensure all fraud investigation findings are validated, clearly documented, and organized for internal and regulatory review
- Monitor industry trends and emerging fraud patterns to identify potential vulnerabilities
- Gather insights on emerging fraud risks and update detection strategies as needed
- Utilize analytics and historical data to improve fraud detection and response mechanisms
- Prepare and present regular reports on fraud activity, trends, and team performance to senior management
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Risk, Compliance, Customer Support, and KYC, to improve fraud prevention, detection, and security
- Initiate and lead projects or studies aimed at improving fraud prevention strategies and enhancing detection systems
- Bachelor's degree graduate; preferably business/finance or statistics course graduate
- Banking/FinTech experience is preferred
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in fraud investigation and/or handling fraud cases in any financial institution.
- Quick to adapt in a fast-paced organization
- Has strong leadership and people management skills
- Knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to fraud prevention.
- Willing to work in Mandaluyong City, Ortigas
