What You'll Do

As a FP&A Manager, you will play a central role in guiding the organisation’s financial direction. Your day-to-day activities will involve synthesising complex data sets into clear reports that drive strategic conversations at the highest level.

  • Develop comprehensive budgets and accurate financial forecasts that enable the organisation to plan effectively for future revenues and expenses while maintaining alignment with strategic goals.
  • Create detailed financial models that predict the impact of various business decisions on cash flow, profitability, and overall organisational health.
  • Monitor and analyse financial performance against established targets, tracking key ratios and understanding variances to provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide data-driven insights to executives and boards, helping them make informed choices about financial strategies, new initiatives, and operational plans.
  • Design scenario analyses to assess potential opportunities and risks under different market conditions, supporting proactive risk management.
  • Gather and consolidate data from multiple departments across the organisation to produce comprehensive financial reports that inform both short-term actions and long-term planning.
  • Identify potential financial risks by analysing trends and developing mitigation strategies that safeguard the organisation’s interests.
  • Ensure operational plans and budgets are consistently aligned with overarching corporate strategy through regular review and adjustment processes.
  • Collaborate closely with accounting teams, leadership, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication of financial information throughout the business.
  • Support optimisation of business performance by uncovering trends, identifying new revenue opportunities, and recommending process improvements.

What You Bring

To excel as a FP&A Manager, you will bring a wealth of experience from previous roles in finance or accounting where you have demonstrated both technical proficiency and interpersonal sensitivity.

  • Expertise in corporate finance principles with a deep understanding of financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Proven ability to think strategically by connecting quantitative data with qualitative business drivers for holistic analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in both quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques with hands-on experience building complex financial models.
  • Experience with modern financial planning and analysis software tools to streamline reporting processes and enhance accuracy.
  • Exceptional communication skills enabling you to clearly articulate complex financial concepts to non-financial audiences including senior leadership.
  • Ability to adapt quickly within changing environments while maintaining focus on long-term objectives for organisational success.
