Opportunity Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Business Partner to join our dynamic finance team. This role combines the strategic responsibilities of Financial Planning & Analysis with the collaborative functions of a Finance Business Partner. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Business Partnering:
- Act as co-collaborator with business stakeholders, providing strategic financial guidance and analysis
- Partner with operational teams to develop and implement financial strategies
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment of financial goals with business objectives
- Support business units in financial decision-making processes, including investment appraisals and cost management
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through automation to enhance financial processes
- Collaborate with various departments to design, implement, and monitor internal controls to ensure financial compliance and limit potential risk exposure
- Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Lead preparation of financial models, annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis
- Ensure business alignment with strategic goals through collaboration with department heads
- Analyze financial performance key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations into driving business decisions
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management
- Conduct variance analysis to report on ROI and risks, and opportunities
- Perform scenario modeling to evaluate the impact of business changes or potential risks on financial outcomes
- Collaborate with HR and department heads to develop accurate headcount plans, including scenario analyses to support strategic workforce decisions
- Review quarterly and annual P&L and B/S of the service business

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred but not required
- Proven experience in FP&A with a focus in business partnering roles, a plus (preferably at a mid-to-large-sized organization)
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strategic mindset with the ability to see the big picture
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment
- Proactive and self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Advanced knowledge of financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions, Power BI, and/or other automation tools/apps
- Self-starter with the ability to own the problem and the solution in a finance working environment
