As General ledger Accountant/ Fixed Asset Accountant, you will be:

Fixed Asset Experience
Multinational Experience
Experience working with Australian company financials is preferred but not essential
BS Reconciliation
High degree of computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office applications.

As General ledger Accountant/ Fixed Asset Accountant, you will be:
- Analyse the general ledger at transaction level then recommend and prepare corrections and reversals
- Recommend and prepare accruals in the accounts
- Undertake balance sheet adjustments and amortisation of prepayments, provisions etc
- Manage recharges and cross charges between entities
- Ensure monthly and quarterly BAS reports are prepared and submitted to tax department on time
- Process commissionable revenue accounts each month and ensure the accrued expenses are reconciled at month end
- Reconcile the delivery aggregators accounts on a weekly basis and ensure the balance sheet accounts are reconciled at month end
- Reconcile and accrue rental expense on a monthly basis and ensure every site has been correctly accounted for
- Process inventory shrinkage journal each month and reconcile inventory balance sheet accounts with the storage report.
- Update fixed asset register and process depreciation each month. Reconcile the fixed asset register with the balance sheet accounts each month
- Reconcile monthly and quarterly rebates and ensure rebate GL accounts are reconciled each month
- Ensure leave and payroll liability accounts are reconciled and posted
- Post journals to the general ledger and related sub-ledgers with a clear understanding of the underlying transactions and business activities
- Reconcile account balances in the general ledger and related sub-ledgers that will be assigned
- Investigate issues or anomalies in the accounts then recommend and prepare corrections and process improvements
- Contribute to the accuracy of the trial balance
- Analyse accounts and supply data in response to basic requests from the business
- Apply business knowledge to improve the quality and accuracy of the financial accounts
- Other duties as required in alignment with business needs
- Adherence to Month End Tasks
