Your Role

• Perform Fixed Assets, Projects Accounting, and Capital Expenditure/Order Accounting for diverse and complex business operations.
• Maintain an accurate fixed asset register, including tracking the acquisition, depreciation, and disposal of fixed assets.
• Work closely with other departments, including local finance organizations, to ensure the integrity of the Fixed Assets accounting data.
• Support the recording of all related financial activity in the Financial Services Statements and the ERP Fixed Asset sub-ledger system.
• Conduct reconciliations and provide reporting and analysis services to internal customers as assigned.
• Responsible for accounting and reporting all activity in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, internal controls, and company policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and relevant regulations.
• Assist in the audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to fixed assets.
  
  

Who You Are

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent accounting license is a nice to have but not required.

• Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in fixed asset accounting.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in fixed asset management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is essential.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of local and international accounting standards related to fixed assets (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information to various stakeholders.
• Global Perspective: Experience working in a global environment with an understanding of different regional practices and regulations.
• Work Environment: Willingness to work at BGC, Taguig, during day shifts (9 AM - 6 PM) or mid shifts. Shifts change due to MEC.
