Fixed Asset Accountant

JFC’s Accountant (Fixed Assets) is responsible for the following:

Recognition of Assets

• Validate Fixed Asset classification and assignment.
• Correct classification of non-valid Fixed Assets.
• Assign Fixed Assets codes to validated purchases.
• Reclassify PPE transactions and assign codes.
• Monitor project completion and reclassify to Fixed Assets.

Asset Accounting – Recording of Asset Movements

• Validate completeness of FATF received.
• Record Fixed Assets movements in SAP ECC.

Asset Accounting – Depreciation & Amortization

• Execute monthly depreciation and amortization.
• Analyze reasonableness of amounts.
• Post depreciation/amortization in SAP EC.

Balance Sheet Account Management

• Generate and assess balance sheet GL accounts.
• Submit Fixed Assets data for budgeting and outlook.
• Escalate unusual fixed assets account balances.

Statutory Reporting

• Prepare Fixed Assets roll forward report for financial statements.

Fixed Assets Physical Count

• Monitor physical count activities.
• Collate validated PPE physical count.
• Generate variance analysis and coordinate results.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be a graduate of BS Accountancy.
• Open for fresh graduates.
• Must be knowledgeable in basic accounting principles and processes
• Willing to be assigned in Ortigas, Pasig (hybrid working set-up)
