Key Responsibilities
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead and manage the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting cycles (monthly, quarterly), ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support long-term strategic planning and decision-making.
- Collaborate with department heads to gather inputs, challenge assumptions, and ensure budget/forecast accuracy and accountability.
- Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Prepare and present timely and accurate monthly/quarterly financial reports, variance analyses (actuals vs. budget/forecast), and key performance indicator (KPI) dashboards for senior management.
- Provide insightful analysis of financial trends, identifying risks and opportunities to drive business performance and profitability.
- Analyze complex financial data to support business cases for new projects, investments, and other strategic initiatives.
- Business Partnership:
- Act as a key finance business partner to various department heads, providing financial guidance and support for their initiatives and operational decisions.
- Translate business strategies into financial plans and effectively communicate financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
- Support the executive team with data-driven analysis for investor relations and board meetings.
- Team Leadership and Process Improvement:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of financial analysts, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and collaboration.
- Continuously improve FP&A processes, systems, and methodologies to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and the quality of financial insights.
- Oversee the implementation and optimization of financial planning software and BI tools.
- Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is strongly preferred.
- An MBA or other advanced degree/certification (CMA, CFA) is a plus.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role, with a proven ability to lead and develop a team.
- Experience in the BPO or related industry is an advantage.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, macros) and financial modeling is essential.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Business Intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (PFRS/IFRS).
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
- Leadership: Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving goals.
- Business Acumen: Ability to understand the key drivers of the business and provide strategic financial insights.
- Adaptability: Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
