The Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis is responsible for leading the company’s financial planning and analysis functions. This role will work closely with the SVP CFO, supporting periodic forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning initiatives. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, highly engaged leader with a track record of designing, implementing, and continuously improving financial policies, procedures, and systems. They must be capable of leading by example, effectively delegating, motivating, and inspiring their team to excel. The Manager reports directly to the Senior VP of Finance CFO and plays a key role in shaping the company’s financial strategy.

This is a hybrid role based out of our Makati, Manila office.

Base Pay Range

The base pay range of this position is up to $60,000 USD annually. Additional compensation through the Incentive Bonus Program is available for this position after successfully completing 6-months of employment.

The final offer will consider various factors, such as location, education, and prior experience, to ensure a comprehensive and fair compensation assessment.

The Day-to-Day

The Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis will play a key role in driving the company's financial performance and strategic planning processes. The role includes leading critical financial functions, providing insights to senior management, and fostering collaboration across teams.

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Lead the company’s annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and strategic planning processes in collaboration with the SVP CFO.
• Design templates, provide training for area managers, and consolidate results for executive management.
• Conduct variance analysis, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to inform decision-making.
• Develop and maintain rolling forecasts, incorporating market conditions and business developments.

Financial Modeling and Reporting

• Build and maintain financial models to support scenario planning, investment analysis, and long-term financial projections.
• Oversee the preparation of financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), tracking financial and operational performance against targets.

Cost and Risk Management

• Analyze cost structures to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource allocation.
• Assess financial risks and implement risk mitigation strategies to protect the company’s financial integrity.

Sales Analytics and M&A Support

• Oversee sales analytics, including sales incentive plans, pricing, margin, and customer-level reporting.
• Support the SVP CFO with analytics related to potential M&A activities, including post-acquisition integration.

System and Process Optimization

• Serve as the subject matter expert for the company’s forecasting software, providing training and managing system operations.
• Collaborate on improving accounting policies, internal auditing, and budgetary controls.

Strategic Collaboration and Leadership

• Work with management and independent auditors to ensure compliance with controls, audit, and reporting requirements.
• Participate in strategic planning discussions, aligning financial strategies with organizational goals.
• Provide high-level guidance to employees and managers, ensuring adherence to policies and regulations.
• Consistently promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and positivity across teams.

Team Leadership

• Manage and develop a high-performing FP&A team, fostering professional growth and continuous improvement.
• Lead efforts to enhance the financial planning and analysis process through the effective use of technology and tools.

Education and Experience

• Education: Bachelor’ s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• Experience: 5–8 years of progressive FP&A experience, with demonstrated leadership in financial planning and analysis.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making processes.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Industry Experience: Experience in the high-tech industry or SaaS is advantageous.
• Other Attributes: Results-driven with a proactive approach to problem-solving. High level of integrity and commitment to ethical standards. Adaptability and willingness to embrace change and continuous improvement.
