Financial Analyst/Accountant

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Review customer purchase orders and quote/opportunity in Salesforce and book Sales Order in MS Dynamics Navision ERP system.
  • Follow up with Sales and Sales Operations to resolve discrepancies between Purchase Order and Quote/Opportunity.
  • Put Sales Orders on Hold if there are discrepancies and release Holds as discrepancies are resolved.
  • Review shipping documents for completeness before invoicing and follow up with the shipping team for any missing information.
  • Generate invoice in ERP system. Occasionally generate manual invoices in Excel/PDF for special formatting requests by customer.
  • Drive collection on assigned accounts and prepare collection status report for weekly AR review meeting.
  • Review and process new customer creation requests.
  • Collect proper authorizations prior to creating the customer account in the system.
  • Archive all customer information for SOX audit.
  • Prepare credit limit and credit hold report on daily basis. Put Sales Order on hold if over credit limit.
  • Process credit extension requests. Release Sales Orders hold accordingly.

Basic Qualifications, Education & Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in accountancy, Finance, Commerce or any related courses
  • 5 – 10 years Accounts Receivable and Sales Order Entry Experience
  • Knowledge and experience working with ERP and CRM systems, preferably MS Navision Dynamics ERP and Salesforce CRM.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload to a deadline
  • Ability to identify root cause issues, offer possible solutions and/or next course of action
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
