Financial Accountant

We are looking for a detail oriented and analytical Financial Accountant to join our team. This role will support the Finance function in delivering high quality financial reporting, analysis, and compliance activities across the business. You will work closely with senior finance leaders to ensure timely month end and quarter end deliverables, maintain strong data integrity, and help identify operational efficiencies that support strategic decision making.

Key Responsibilities

• Support monthly and quarterly financial close activities including accruals, prepayments, provisions, and journal preparation
• Perform revenue recognition reviews and reconcile deferrals, WIP, and milestone billing
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations across group entities
• Manage inventories, tangible and intangible assets, depreciation, and amortisation
• Assist in preparing VM monthly and quarterly financial reporting packs
• Provide financial analysis, insights, and pricing support to management
• Help document, review, and improve finance processes, policies, and procedures
• Support internal and external audit requirements
• Build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• CA, CPA, CIMA or ACCA qualification (or near completion) preferred
  
  

Skills And Experience

• Minimum 3 years experience in an accounting or financial reporting role
• Strong understanding of accounting standards including IFRS
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
• High attention to detail with strong organisational and time management abilities
• Proficient in accounting systems and MS Office applications
• Adaptable, self motivated, and able to work both independently and with a team
