Job Summary:
The Finance Lead will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. The role involves leading a finance team, managing key financial processes, and providing strategic financial insights to support decision-making and business growth. The Finance Lead will work closely with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that align with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and provide ongoing financial forecasting to ensure alignment with company objectives. Monitor financial performance and variance analysis.
- Cash Flow Management: Manage the organization’s cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity for operations while optimizing the use of resources.
- Financial Analysis: Provide in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Offer actionable insights to support business decisions and improve profitability.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture and promoting continuous professional growth.
- Internal Controls & Compliance: Ensure robust internal controls are in place to safeguard company assets and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies that support long-term growth and business objectives.
- Cost Management: Analyze and monitor cost structures and implement cost control measures to improve profitability.
- Tax & Audit: Coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely audits and compliance with tax regulations. Oversee tax filings and ensure compliance with relevant tax laws.
- Systems & Processes: Continuously evaluate and improve financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and reporting capabilities.
- Ad Hoc Projects: Manage or participate in special projects, such as financial system upgrades, mergers, or acquisitions.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, and financial modeling. Experience with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team. Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to handle complex financial problems and identify effective solutions.
- Knowledge of Regulations: Familiarity with financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.

- Occasional travel may be required.
