Job Description
- Lead the company's financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting by analyzing performance, identifying risks, and developing strategic financial models.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements (SEC, BIR, etc.), including timely submission of all reports and filings.
- Oversee all core finance functions, including accounting, tax, treasury, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.
- Manage the company's cash flow, implement internal controls, and mitigate financial risk through effective risk management strategies.
- Develop and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide financial insights and business partnership to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making and investments.
- Supervise and continuously improve finance systems, tools, and processes to support scalability and efficiency.
- Lead, manage, and train the finance and accounting team to ensure adherence to financial standards and foster professional growth.
A Successful Finance Lead Should Have
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA or equivalent is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and strategic planning.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Experience in the ecommerce/retail/fmcg industry is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
