About the Role
As our Finance Executive, you’ll play a crucial role in managing and improving the local country’s accounts receivable operations. You'll work closely with the Finance team, Account Management, and other departments to ensure timely billing, efficient collections, and robust compliance with local regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Healthy Accounts Receivable Management
- Monitor billing and collection processes
- Collaborate on dispute management with Account Managers
- Generate and analyze aging reports to identify collection risks
- Lead collection review meetings
- Ensure billing is contractually supported
- Maximize cash flow and minimize bad debt exposure
Success Looks Like:
On-time billing & collections aligned with forecast
Bad debts < 0.5% of revenue
Long aging % improvement
Accurate monthly P&L closure
2. Financial Transactions & ERP Data Accuracy
- Timely invoice issuance in Navision and tax system
- Cash application & reconciliation in ERP system
- Ensure compliance with VAT/WHT rules
- Liaise with legal for outstanding collections
- Propose process improvements
Success Looks Like:
95% data accuracy in ERP
Timely legal escalations & minimal penalties
Precise tax input and transaction entry
3. Project Management & Financial Analysis
- Support financial benchmarking and analysis
- Assist with cost management and special projects
- Lead or participate in digitalization and process improvement efforts
4. Audit, Tax & Treasury Support
- Prepare and organize audit/tax documentation
- Manage accurate and timely payment processes
- Send out client Statements of Account (SOA) monthly
- Minimize unidentified collections
5. Compliance & Ethics
- Adhere to local legislation, accounting standards, and Isentia’s Code of Conduct
- Maintain high standards of workplace health and safety
- Act ethically in all business interactions
What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience:
- Degree in Business, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years in Accounts Receivable or Collections (services industry preferred)
Technical Skills:
- Strong AR, reconciliation, and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of VAT/WHT requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general accounting systems
- Experience with Navision or Netsuite (preferred but not required)
Personal Qualities:
- Detail-oriented and organized
- High integrity and result-driven
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Communication:
- Excellent verbal and written English
- Comfortable interacting across all business levels
