The Finance and Accounting Officer play a central role in managing the full spectrum of financial operations. This role combines hands-on account reconciliation, payment monitoring, contract and payroll administration, and application assessment with oversight of financial data integrity, compliance, and inter-company balancing. The position ensures that financial systems, particularly Xero and integrated payment platforms, are maintained to the highest standard and continuously improved for efficiency, automation, and accuracy. Some work will be required to record outcomes in Zoho CRM systems, such as payment schedule adjustments and assessment outcomes.

What are we looking for?
Skills Required
- 3-5 years' experience in finance, accounting, or bookkeeping, preferably within multi-entity organizations
- Proven experience with Xero and integrated payment platforms
- Strong understanding of account reconciliation, chart of accounts management, and inter-company balancing.
- Familiarity with loan administration, contract processing, and B2B financial arrangements.
- Exposure to collections processes and compliance with Australian financial regulations preferred.
- Zoho experience
- Leasing, Car Rentals, Loan Industry experience
- Australian client experience

Account Reconciliation & Reporting
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations across all business accounts, ensuring alignment between Xero, payment platforms, and business records.
- Manage inter-company transactions and reconciliations to maintain balanced books across all entities.
- Support end-of-month (EOM) and end-of-year reporting processes, preparing reconciled data, schedules, and supporting documentation
- Approve and process customer and operational invoices in Xero, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage supplier payments, expense reimbursements, and payment scheduling in line with cash flow priorities.
- Maintain and update the chart of accounts in accordance with business needs and reporting requirements.
- Create and edit customer payment schedules based on approved variations, cancellations, upgrades, or early payouts.
- Assess applications for B2B contracts, verifying financial viability and compliance with business criteria.
- Register and discharge PPSR as required, and ensure all contract-linked transactions are documented correctly.
- Assist in monitoring overdue accounts and supporting collection activities in collaboration with operations and management teams.
- Process dishonour fees, administrative charges, and other account adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain accurate financial and contact data for customers in Xero and integrated systems.
- Maintain and enhance the integration between Xero and external payment platforms to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for automation, reporting improvements, and process optimization.
- Liaise with external accountants for audits, compliance checks, and ad hoc requests.
