REPORTS TO: Financial Controller
WORK SET-UP: Hybrid (1 day work onsite, 4 days work from home)
SUMMARY:
Manages all aspects of the company’s accounting and finance activities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepares the Monthly Budget from PHP to USD and the conversion of Monthly USD Budget to PHP
• Responsible for Daily Bank Monitoring and Updates of Bank Balances/Cash Flow
• Sends monthly ending bank balances to the Financial Controller
• Encodes all transactions in US Based QuickBooks for accounting purposes: Accounts
• Payable/Accounts Receivable /Payroll etc.
• Encodes Petty Cash Fund-Review and Reconcile
• Prepares Online Payments for Vendors and Payroll
• Prepares and Approves Payments for Online Governmental Entities (SSS, HDMF, PHIC, BIR)
• Prepares the Month End Closing Reports and Payroll Monthly Mapping
• Prepares Adjusting Entries (Accruals, Prepayments, etc.)
• Performs Bank Reconciliations-Review and Reconcile PHP and USD
• Coordinates with the Preparation of Fiscal Year Audit, Requirements and Reports
• Ensures Year End Closing preparations and completion
• Prepares ALL bank transactions (deposits, encashments, conversion)
• Prepares and submits in person as needed all Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Reports to BIR, ITR, and other Government entities
• Submits the Books of Accounts for stamping
• Updates Book of Accounts monthly
• Processes Yearly Business Permit, Barangay Clearance, and all other requirements anent to Business Permit
• Coordinates with local BIR, and City Hall for all required reports not mentioned above
• Prepares the schedules/subsidiary ledgers for all accounts for Audit purposes
• Do the canvassing of supplies for bulk purchases
• Coordinates with Machica on SEC Annual Fiscal Reports and Audited Financial Statements
• Processes SEC Investment Renewal and Monitoring
• Prepares and submits reports/documents required by regulatory agencies, banks, and other external parties as needed
• Performs administrative tasks and other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Completed a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance or equivalent.
• 2 to 4 years of related experience and/or training.
• Working knowledge of forecasting and financial reports.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret economic conditions and anticipate the impact on the organization.
• Working knowledge of data collection, data analysis, evaluation, and scientific method.
• Ability to work with all levels of management.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
• Proven leadership and business acumen skills

• Proficient in MS Office Applications, QuickBooks, and other Accounting-related software.
