Performance Objectives
The Facilities Supervisor plans and facilities changes for plant, office, and production equipment layouts, working toward economy of operation, maximum use of facilities and equipment, and compliance with laws and regulations. Coordinates with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings. Prepares bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition. Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation and other related costs. Inspects construction and installation progress for conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules. Develops criteria and performance specifications required to meet unique operating requirements and building and safety codes.
He/she will also manage the design, planning, construction and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities. Plans, budgets, and schedules facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials and other related costs. Designs and develops organizational policies relevant to the facilities department. Oversees the coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services and facilities expansion. May have responsibility for establishing and overseeing health and safety standards. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, monitoring and improvement of Facilities Systems, ensuring optimal efficiency and safety. (Power System, HVAC/MVAC, CDA, Refrigeration, PVAC, RODI, Process Cooling, WTP, STP, FDAS/Fire-Pro).
- Managing the technical aspects of facility operations, coordinating maintenance activities, and leading a team of engineers and technicians.
- Develop preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize system performances.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and audits, addressing any issues or non-compliance.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce energy consumption and improve sustainability.
- Monitor and analyze utility usage, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Selects & develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of Facilities utilities.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, technicians, and support staff.
- Develop and manage facility budgets, including maintenance, repairs, and capital improvement projects.
- Monitor expenditures and ensure cost effective facility management.
- Registered Mechanical Engineer (RME)
- At least 6 years of experience in Facilities Operations, focused on maintenance and operations in a semiconductor industry
- Proven ability to manage teams, projects, and multiple priorities
- LSSGB – Projects related to Energy Efficiency and Reduction
- CECO – Certified Energy Conservation Officer (by DOE) is an advantage
- Preferably a Safety Office (SO3) certified practitioner
- Knowledge of the technical operations and maintenance of the following major Facilities equipment is an advantage:
- Chiller – Dunham Bush, Trane
- Air Compressor/Driers – Atlas Copco
- Vacuum – Atlas Copco
- Gas Mixer - Thermco
- UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) – Schneider/Eaton
- RODI – TSI/MTEC/Organo
