We're seeking a highly autonomous and experienced Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist with exceptional skills in backlink creation to join our dynamic digital marketing team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter capable of working independently, defining their own objectives, and driving results with minimal oversight. This role requires a proven track record of developing and implementing successful SEO strategies, with a particular focus on building high-quality backlink profiles that drive organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.

Role Overview

This position is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in a self-directed environment. You will be the sole SEO specialist in the organization, responsible for all aspects of our SEO strategy and execution. The ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and deliver results without explicit instructions is crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Independently develop, implement, and manage comprehensive SEO strategies, with a strong emphasis on backlink building
• Proactively identify SEO opportunities and challenges, creating action plans without supervision
• Create and execute innovative link building campaigns to increase the quantity and quality of inbound links
• Identify and secure high-value backlink opportunities through outreach, content creation, and strategic partnerships
• Conduct thorough backlink analysis of competitors and industry leaders to inform strategy
• Perform regular backlink audits and disavow toxic links as necessary
• Monitor and analyze backlink profiles using advanced SEO tools
• Develop content strategies that naturally attract high-quality backlinks
• Take initiative in educating internal teams on the importance of backlinks and best practices for acquisition
• Conduct keyword research and analyze competitive landscape without guidance
• Optimize on-page and off-page SEO elements
• Perform regular SEO audits and identify areas for improvement
• Monitor and analyze website analytics and search engine performance
• Collaborate with content, development, and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, techniques, and algorithm updates without prompting

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in SEO and digital marketing, with a strong focus on backlink building and management
• Proven track record of improving search engine rankings and organic traffic through effective link building strategies
• Extensive experience in creating and managing successful link building campaigns
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive results without supervision
• Strong self-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines without guidance
• In-depth knowledge of backlink analysis tools (e.g., Ahrefs, Majestic, Moz Open Site Explorer)
• Proficiency in SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush)
• Strong understanding of technical SEO, on-page optimization, and overall link building strategies
• Excellent networking and relationship-building skills for securing quality backlinks
• Familiarity with white hat link building techniques and ability to avoid black hat practices
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to make data-driven decisions independently
