About This Role…

Accountant will provide financial services and will be required to:

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting the Accounting team in high level bookkeeping tasks.
• Preparation of financial statements, income tax returns, group tax summary and loan summary for corporate and family groups, including Trusts, Companies, Partnerships, Individuals & SMSFs
• Preparation of payroll tax returns, FBT returns, activity statements
• Working as part of a team where you will work closely with other intermediate and senior business services accountants
• Other related tasks assigned
  
  

Qualification

• With at least 3 years of relevant work experience
• Minimum 2 years Australian Experience
• Graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or any related course
• Strong knowledge in end-to-end accounting process
• Experienced in the following
• Preparation of financial statements within Xero.
• Preparation of quarterly Business Activity Statements.
• Preparation of Income Tax returns within Xero Practice Manager
• Other accounting software would also be a bonus but not a necessity
• General Australian accounting concepts
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Preferably with high-level skills in accounting software such as Xero
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Exceptional problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills
• A quick-learner and highly-independent individual
