The Executive Manager is accountable for all aspects of frontline operational service delivery within the district, in line with the requirements of the authorising environment provided by the QAS Governance Committee (QASGC).
The Executive Manager is accountable for all aspects of frontline operational service delivery within the district, in line with the requirements of the authorising environment provided by the QAS Governance Committee (QASGC). This includes clinical quality, patient safety, standards, logistics, reporting requirements, industrial relations, discipline, stakeholder relationships, economy and value. The role will ensure patient safety through endorsed operational plans and local work practices. The Executive Manager (Superintendent) will also provide a high level of support to the Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner and the QASGC
in delivering organisational reform outcomes; contributing to the overall future direction of the QAS and ensuring quality, timely and appropriate pre-hospital care and transport services are provided to the Queensland community.
