In addition to providing strong analytical and reporting skills, the successful candidate will work directly with the Finance Director and be a key member of the European finance team.
Essential Job Functions
- Review accuracy of business cases submitted by initiative owners in the Wave project platform.
- Communicate with all initiative owners around actuals tracking (financially), and heavy assistance with KPI / Milestones tracking.
- Support initiative owners in forecasting, budgeting and assessing risks and recommend a plan to build gaps.
- Create reporting around variance analysis on a monthly or potentially weekly basis.
- Contribute in other financial activities such as monthly accounting close & reporting process.
- Support finance’s standing goal to continuously improve the quality, efficiency and value of financial information produced, via financial tools such as Wave, operational efficiencies, and automation.
- Support in all integration financial aspects and ad hoc activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 3+ years post qualification experience working in financial analysis, accounting, or similar.
- Bachelor’s degree in financial analysis, accounting, management consulting or similar.
- Ability to work in the Irish/UK time zone.
- Business partnering experience
- Advanced excel skills
- Strong business acumen and commercial awareness
- Strong desire to learn and grow professionally
- Commitment to quality and attention to detail
- Proactive approach to problem solving / process improvement, and ability to execute tasks effectively and manage competing priorities.
- A proven track record in financial analysis and modeling
- Ability to identify and understand the key drivers of business performance
- Strong relationship, communication and influencing skills to work effectively with leadership and cross functional teams
- Self-driven, organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; and
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate with team and top management is essential as well as good presentation skills.
