As an Estimator, you will:
- Develop Subcontractor Scoping documents
- Analyze and evaluate Design Documents
- Produce/analyze take-offs
- Identify discrepancies in specifications and drawings with team
- Request pricing and lead times through subcontractors and manufacturers
- Produce comprehensive and timely proposals
- Upon project award, produce timely buyout packages
- Review RFI approvals and update quotes accordingly
- Review any changes within drawing bulletins/addendums and update quotes accordingly
- Collaborate with Operations team on all proposals
- Collaborate with Project Management team throughout project
Non-negotiables
- Strong Computer Skills
- Experience in Construction
- Experience in reviewing construction plans, specifications, and other related construction documents
- Experience with Bluebeam software
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook)
- High attention to detail
- Excellent quantitative and analytical math skills
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Positive customer service skills
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a construction related field (preferred)
