Your Role

As an ERP Application Support Officer you will:

  • Work as part of the ERP team to maintain and support the Supagas ERP Systems (Pronto and Ignition) nationally for both Corporate and Branch users.
  • To support the ERP Systems Manager by assisting with the smooth running of the ERP systems and related applications for all the required departments to enhance the Supagas users experience and with setting priorities and managing workflow.
  • Embody the ‘Yes we can’ ethos in all aspects of the role and responsibilities.
  • Adopt and promote a safety-first mindset.
  • Provide Level 1 application support to users across the business via service desk tickets, phone, and email.
  • Troubleshoot basic to moderate ERP-related issues and escalate unresolved items as appropriate.
  • Assist with daily operational support of ERP systems, ensuring minimal disruption to business processes.
  • Administer and maintain user access, security roles, and permissions in accordance with company policies.
  • Participate in testing of new system features or changes when required.
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to the ERP team.
  • Perform other duties as directed to ensure efficient operation of ERP systems.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in ERP or business application support.
  • Familiarity with ERP modules preferred which include:
    • Accounts Receivable
    • Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
    • Sales Orders
    • Inventory
    • Purchase Orders
  • Experience supporting users across multiple departments (e.g., Finance, Sales, Logistics) is advantageous.
  • Formal qualifications in IT, Business Systems, or a related field are desirable but not essential.

  • Strong logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Quick learner with a proactive and self-directed approach to acquiring new skills.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with end users, IT, and other departments.
  • Understanding of business processes in areas such as logistics, customer service, finance, and manufacturing.
  • Strong time management and ability to prioritise competing tasks.
  • Comfortable working independently and in a team environment.
