Equipment Technician - Module

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Equipment Engineer during assembly, set up, and qualification of machines and stations
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine and station malfunctions and issues to minimize downtime.
• Assist in buy-off and installation of machine, equipment, fixtures and peripherals.
• Support generation and maintenance of relevant machine and station documentation
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and support station upkeep of machines and stations as per document
• Support Equipment Engineers in design and development of new stations (hardware and software) and implementation of machine and station improvements
  
  

Education & Experience

Education: BS in Electronics/Electrical Technology. Technical school (Include Senior Mid School) graduate or above in optic, semiconductor, electronics, or equivalent technical discipline.

Experience: At least 2 years' experience in Semiconductor / Electrical / Electronics / Optolectronics / Fiber optics Industry in the same function

Skills

• Operational experience with assembly/test/automated stations and equipment used in stated manufacturing industries
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming language (C/C++, Visual Basic, LabView, etc.) and equipment communication interfaces (GPIB, RS232, USB, etc.)
• Able to read and interpret schematic and wiring drawing and diagrams
• Computer software literate (MS office software, statistical software, simulation tools, MES, ERP, documentation control, etc)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Hands-on attitude, initiative and resourcefulness
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Effective team player and possess coordinating skills
• Adaptability, Customer Focus, Problem Solving, Decision Making and Continuous Improvement, Professional and Technical Knowledge and Skills, Teamwork and Positive Relationships, Work Standards/Quality/ Details
