Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Equipment Engineer during assembly, set up, and qualification of machines and stations.
- Trouble shoot and resolve machine and station malfunctions and issues to minimize downtime.
- Assist in buy-off and installation of machine, equipment, fixtures and peripherals.
- Support generation and maintenance of relevant machine and station documentation
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and support station upkeep of machines and stations as per document
- Support Equipment Engineers in design and development of new stations (hardware and software) and implementation of machine and station improvements.
- At least 2 years’ experience in Semiconductor / Electrical / Electronics / Optoelectronics / Fiber optics Industry in the same function.
- Operational experience with assembly/test/automated stations and equipment used in stated manufacturing industries
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming language (C/C++, Visual Basic, Lab View, etc.) and equipment communication interfaces (GPIB, RS232, USB, etc.)
- Able to read and interpret schematic and writing drawing and diagrams.
- Computer software literate (MS office software, statistical software, simulation tools, MES, ERP, documentation control, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Hands-on attitude, initiative and resourcefulness
- Strong analytical and problem- solving skills.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Adaptability, Customer Focus, Problem Solving, Decision Making and Continuous Improvement, Professional and Technical Knowledge and Skills, Teamwork and Positive Relationship, Work Standards/Quality/Details.
- This role is 100% onsite
