ENVIRONMENTAL COMPLIANCE ANALYST

Role Overview

• Serve as the Pollution Control Officer for the Research Compound, ensuring compliance with all applicable environmental regulations and maintaining updated permits and certifications.
• Monitor and manage the facility’s environmental performance, including air emissions, wastewater treatment, hazardous and solid waste management, and chemical storage and handling.
• Ensure proper monitoring, documentation, and compliant disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, as well as control of air emissions and effluent.
• Prepare, submit, and maintain required environmental reports, ensuring accuracy and timely compliance with regulatory deadlines.
• Conduct or coordinate training sessions and orientations on environmental compliance and chemical safety for internal stakeholders to ensure awareness and consistent adherence to applicable laws and procedures.
• Recommend and support the implementation of best practices for pollution prevention, sustainability, and regulatory adaptation.
• Provide support during internal audits, root cause analyses, and the development of corrective action plans.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
• Must be a licensed Chemical Engineer
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in environmental compliance, preferably in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, food, or semiconductor industries
• DENR-accredited Pollution Control Officer (PCO) certification is a strong advantage
